Creating IT subtype records in the background

Hi

While creating Infotype subtype (1) from ESS, it should also create another subtype (2) of the same infotype in the background copying the same (subtype 1) information.

We tried using HRPAD00INFTYBL which is for validations before creating/modifying IT records. Not sure if there are any other options we have which can be used after IT record is created.
