Extracting Field Name From a Variable

Hi Experts,

I have the following requirement from a client.

I have the name of the Field of Infotype 0008 var1 = 'LGA01'  and var2 = 'BET01' stored in a local variable.

The requirement is such that I need to change the value stored in 'BET01'.

Any help would be appreciated.
