Infoprovider table size

Hi Gurus,

I have some infoproviders, some cubes and dsos and the size of them are more or less than 20GB when checked in DB02 tcode. Could you tell me how I can reduce the size of them. Is it either by compressing the data or archiving the requests. Can you throw some light on this.
