Use Case for Lock Posting Template in Journal Entry

Hi,

In Form Settings of Journal Entry, there is a field called Lock Posting Template. What is the use of this? Even if I check this, I am still able to add or remove GL accounts, and can edit the GL accounts which are coming from the Posting Template. I am using Percentage Template Type.
