Deriving Quantity in Transformation from DSO and Virtual Provider

Hello Experts,

I have a scenario to derive Week of the year in Target Virtual provider based on Invoice date coming from DSO and aggregating quantity based on Ship to and Material for the Week.

Can we map Invoice date (from DSO) to 0Week(Virtual Cube) to derive week and write a field routine in Virtual provider quantity field to get the sum of quantity for a week from DSO based upon Ship to and Material?

As Virtual provider do not store data, therefore I am skeptical if above mentioned conversions will work fine in DSO and Virtual Provider Transformation..
